National Living Wage: Time to improve efficiency

The Government's new compulsory National Living Wage rolled out across the UK on 1 April 2016 entitling workers aged over 25 to £7.20 an hour. Contract costs for cleaning services that have been historically based on the minimum wage are expected to rise by as much as 30% over the next 3 years.

With continued financial uncertainty, planned future increases to the National Living Wage, introduction of workplace pensions and a general demand to deliver more with less, best practice benchmarking can help mitigate against these increases, deliver long term benefits at minimal cost and drive continuous improvements.

i-Clean has supported several organisations to fund the National Living Wage and the higher rate Living Wage through the identification of efficiency improvements and adoption of best practice benchmarking. Find out how we can help you.
